The Reflection Shrine

Portrayed by: Uncredited
Occupation: Mirror occupant / presiding judge
Important relationships: Alan (original?), The Original Owner (unknown)
Biography
It begins as a continuity error, then becomes an independent character. The finale implies the Reflection has been keeping a complete record of Alan’s wishes.
In the early episodes this character seems to belong to a perfectly ordinary workplace comedy. By midseason, the office itself has become a place where memories, motives and even employment histories can be rewritten. Watch the reaction shots: they tell a different story from Alan’s narration.
Character Development
The episodes I recommend for watching this character are the pilot, The Perfect Woman, Forbidden Fruits and the finale. Some of the biggest changes happen without anyone mentioning them out loud.

Webmaster Notes
My friend Scott thinks The is secretly the villain. I disagree (except in Alan’s case, which is becoming a little difficult to defend). Please send theories, NOT chain letters.
