THE WHOLE STORY (SPOILERS!!!)
Alan believes his life deserves a soundtrack and a woman in the background singing along. He casts Carmen Vitae. Everyone can hear the theme. Nobody can find the radio. Rachel hires a jingle writer to sue the tune.
The audio drifts two seconds ahead of the picture, and the chorus is sung by the entire cast with Alan conducting. He stops. The song does not. Continuity: Alan’s life has a soundtrack because someone is writing him.
⚖ CASE OF THE WEEK
In re: The Theme Song: a jingle writer accused of plagiarising a heartbeat.
💭 INSIDE ALAN’S HEAD
Alan's heart plays a song. A bigger one plays inside it.
📖 CODEX LORE
THE THEME: Alan's life has a soundtrack because someone is writing him.
My Two Cents
Strange musical episode but I have to admit the tune is catchy. I hummed it in Spanish class. A girl asked what it was. I did not have a good answer. I give it 🍔🍔🍔 out of five burgers.
Best Quote
RONNIE: Man, who plays the music when the music plays itself?
Continuity Watch / Theories
The audio is two seconds ahead of the picture during the chorus. On purpose??
