THE WHOLE STORY (SPOILERS!!!)

Ronnie leads an intervention about Alan’s “attitude toward women in the workplace.” Alan responds by asking why women get a say in his attitude at all. He casts Animus Concors and the entire office becomes cheerful, compliant and happy to be corrected by him. People smile at the photocopier.

Ronnie alone remembers the old Fish & Cage and begs him to undo it. Alan agrees, on one condition. Ronnie ends the episode writing a resignation letter he does not remember writing. Continuity: people who notice get edited next.

⚖ CASE OF THE WEEK

Fish & Cage v. Fish & Cage: a firm-wide intervention.

💭 INSIDE ALAN’S HEAD

Alan's internal monologue is subtitled by a stenographer who keeps correcting his grammar.

📖 CODEX LORE

THE SMILE EPIDEMIC: wishes can spread to bystanders. Ronnie is the first immune person.

My Two Cents

A gentler one but still disturbing. Ronnie is my hero. Why does nobody else notice that they are all being rewritten?? Except Daniel and Ronnie. Maybe the people who stay sane are the writer's favorites. I give it 🍔🍔🍔🍔 out of five burgers.

Best Quote

RONNIE: Man, you can't fix a mood with a law.

Continuity Watch / Theories

Ronnie's letter is dated for next Thursday. Time travel or a continuity error? I vote time travel.
