THE WHOLE STORY (SPOILERS!!!)

Alan decides men were happier before feminism and goes back to find out. He casts Primus Vir and is turned into a caveman, delivering his most eloquent speech entirely in grunts. Rachel and he have a long, oddly romantic scene about billing.

Bethany touches Daniel’s face and says, in perfect modern English, “I think I used to know you.” Alan hits the Codex with a club. It is not scratched. Continuity: the Codex is patient.

⚖ CASE OF THE WEEK

Cro-Magnon v. McBurger: a caveman charged with illegal fire.

💭 INSIDE ALAN’S HEAD

Alan monologues in grunts for ten minutes. It is his most eloquent speech.

📖 CODEX LORE

THE CLUB: the Codex does not scratch. It just waits. It is patient.

My Two Cents

Weirdly my favorite comedy episode and my favorite sad episode. Alan with a club is hilarious, then you realise he is destroying the book that lets him fix things. Is he trying to stop himself?? I give it 🍔🍔🍔🍔 out of five burgers.

Best Quote

ALAN: Ug. Law. Ug.

Continuity Watch / Theories

The Codex survives being hit with a club. It is not even scratched. Check the freeze frame.
